I haven’t posted on my blog in awhile (as you can probably tell). I’ve been keeping most updates over on Facebook. I will try to revert back to blogging again soon. Moving to a new location and keeping up with the busy lives of my four children has made it hard to get re-established again. But I’ll get there before the Navy decides where they want to move us (again). It’s been a nice break. I’ve made great new friends and am learning to embrace the quiet countryside. The darkness at night was a little intimidating at first, but man, the air is so crisp and you can see all the stars at night. It almost feels like you can reach up and touch them. In the back of my mind and deep in my heart I always miss San Diego. It is my home. I hope these roads we travel will lead me back there one day. But you never know what life has in store for you. We just have to take it day by day.
Here is my youngest who turns five years old on Monday. She was only 6 months old when we left San Diego. My how time flies.
