Monthly Archives: June 2009 Today I had the pleasure of photographing 12 day old little Cooper. While mom Melissa was feeding the model, I perused his dad’s aviation collection (Dan flies the same Navy helicopter my husband used to fly). I spied a helmet on his shelf used for aviation and hoped mom would be game for letting me...  Today Rashmi and I met up with 6 babies and their parents in Old Town Alexandria to see how many of them we could squeeze onto my couch. Answer? Six! Aren’t they the cutest little cherubs you ever laid your eyes on? It’s okay, you can drop dead from the cute. I know I did.... This my own concoction that I made by experimenting, but I swear my kids love it (age 17 months to 12 years old). First I make the rice: Ingredients 1 cup uncooked long grain rice 2 tablespoons minced garlic 2 cans chicken broth ½ onion ¼ cup tomato sauce Canned, peeled tomatoes 1 teaspoon cumin... I have to give props to this school for offering free, state-funded classes to the public. All you’ve gotta do is fill out a scantron form and you can take any computer class you want. You can’t beat it and the instructors are awesome. Want to learn Microsoft or Adobe software? They’ll teach you. Want...  Missing that feeling of waves swirling around my ankles and sucking the sand from beneath my feet. It’s the little things in life that soothe your soul. Share
