Pete and Kris are a fellow Navy family my husband worked with years ago back in San Diego. We reconnected in Alexandria when they had their second daughter Madeline. I had the honor of reconnecting with them yet again on my recent trip back home to San Diego where they are oh-so-lucky to be stationed. They are expecting their 3rd baby girl in 2012. Many congratulations to them both on their growing family and gorgeous girls. =)

Nina and Richard are expecting their first baby (a girl!) in June. I had a blast with them today. =) I can’t wait to meet their daughter after I return from Hawaii. Aloha!

Spring is in the air and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Washington, DC. I had the honor of photographing this sweet family today. Matt, Pam, and their hapa-Chinese daughter Olivia… I have a soft spot for hapas, being hapa myself. =) They are expecting a second little one soon and I cannot wait to meet him/her. I admire the willpower of parents who can hold out until their baby’s birth day to find out the gender.

I have been blessed with yet another gorgeous expecting couple. Eric and Farah are expecting their first baby (a boy) this month and I cannot wait to meet him. If his parents are any indication, he is going to be one beautiful baby. =)

This sweet family is expecting a baby girl soon. Big brother Anthony is 22 months old and his dog Molly loyally follows him around, according to his dad. =) I can’t wait to see what their little girl looks like. I bet she’ll have curly golden locks like her big brother, not to mention those gorgeous blue eyes!

Erin, Brian, Ella, and their fur baby Emma are expecting a wee little boy next month to join their family. I had so much fun spending the day with them today. What a sweet family! =)

I feel like I was hand-delivered characters from a Nicholas Sparks novel. At least this is what they look like in my head when I read one of his books. Seriously.

I got a call from RJ yesterday saying his wife DJ was due to deliver their first baby this weekend and they wanted maternity photos. As luck would have it, my husband was home on vacation today and I am leaving for San Francisco tomorrow, so I was able to squeeze them in this morning. Thank goodness for schedules aligning! I thank my lucky stars for throwing these gorgeous families my way. =) I seriously love my job and am happy when I can accommodate people at the last minute. You just never know until you call or email!

This sweet couple and their fur babies are awaiting the birth of a new baby boy next month. This was a very entertaining shoot because Millie (the cat) was not interested in having her photo taken, but Marley (the dog) was quiet happy to be photographed. Pets are so much like the kids I work with.

Greg and Kristine found me by way of Liz over at Oh Baby Photo (Thanks Liz!). What a sweet couple! Their affection for one another is infectious. Greg couldn’t stop kissing his wife and was all smiles during our shoot. So sweet. They are expecting their first baby (a boy) within the next few weeks. I cannot wait to meet Noah.

Petra is ever-so-patiently waiting for a new little sister due to arrive in January. It was a perfect day in Alexandria for a family/maternity shoot. We hung out in a canyon nearby and took in the day. The danger sign was Dave’s idea. And Joy looks so adorable with her all-baby bump. I can’t wait to meet their new addition.
