Little Natalie was born last Friday to Nina and Richard. What a sweet, alert little girl she is. She had her eyes locked on her mama almost the entire time I was there. And dad is a goner. I love the telling look on a new dad’s face when they are just head over heals in love with their new babies. One week and she already has him under her spell.

Olivia is now a big sister to wee little Luke who made his debut just 6 weeks ago. I think they make an adorable duo. I foresee a lot of fun in their future. =) Thank you Pam and Matt for the honor of photographing your sweet babies.

Eric and Farah welcomed their son Zaiden into the world on Farah’s birthday, of all days. =) What a wonderful birthday present! He was so mellow and sleepy for most of his session, until his hunger kicked in. I sense a little growth spurt coming on. Eric wanted to get his token baseball shot in. I love it!

This little beauty belongs to Hank and Marie… such a gorgeous family with movie-star good looks! Laila was a sweet, mellow, sleepy bug. I’ve had great luck with these easy-going babies this year. Their house was amazing… mid-century modern with tons of window light… a photographer’s dream! I felt like I was zapped back to Cali. It was a gorgeous Easter Sunday for shooting. The weather has officially jumped from winter to summer. I think spring didn’t get the memo. Ah well.

Hank reminds me of a certain famous actor. Can you guess who?

Chris, Torra, and Anthony welcomed baby Ellie into their family 2 weeks ago. She was blessed with gorgeous blue eyes and a calm personality. What luck to get a boy and a girl! A perfect set. =) Ellie favors her father, but I see a wee bit of her mama as well. It’ll be interesting to see if she gets those same gorgeous golden curls her big brother has. Grandma Erin was there to help out with the little ones.

Anthony decided it was time for a little ice cream break. I like his thinking! =)

Carolyn and Ted welcomed sweet Victoria into their family last month. She is a very vocal little one, with plenty of squeaks and grunts. She was the perfect little model for me. She snoozed for the better part of her session. =)

Ten days ago, the miracle of adoption (and ten years of waiting) brought Jacob home into the loving arms of his parents, Jamie and Lorrie… It was an emotional session with mom, dad, aunts, and uncle in the room. Lots of tissues were being passed around and I got an intense case of the goosebumps from the happiness in the air. =) Jacob is one adored little guy. Welcome home little man.

Donnie and Kay welcomed their twin daughters into the world 10 weeks ago. They are easily the tiniest little babies I’ve ever worked with. So incredibly sweet! I felt like I was playing with a couple of baby dolls. =) It was a fun shoot and totally made my weekend. How cute are their little Onesies?! They have entered this world in style.

Brian, Erin, and Ella welcomed baby Cooper into the world just 3 days ago~ talk about brand-spankin-new! He was such a sleepy little peanut. I think he makes the perfect addition to this sweet family.

Thanks to mom Erica and dad Robert for inviting me over to photograph their sweet 5 week old son Michael. He was the most mellow model ever. He had his eyes on me the entire time. =) I think today was a record for me. We were done in about an hour. Totally unheard of with newborns, but Michael was a very willing participant. He made my job ridiculously easy. =)
