Chanel

Sweet little 7 month old Chanel had her Christening yesterday. She looked like an absolute angel in her Christening dress. She was joined by grandma Eva, mom Michelle, and dad Rick, I mean Mark.;)For the first 10 minutes I kept calling poor Mark “Rick”, until he murmured “Mark”. Haha. My bad. He was such a great sport about it and started calling me Rick as well. Kinda catchy, I think.;)

michelle - Wow, Ingrid!

Absolutely gorgeous! Far better than I expected given how exhausted Chanel was yesterday. You’re a miracle worker!

Many thanks,

Christened by Noah

No newborn session is complete without a Christening or two. And I’m not talking the traditional church type. Noah decided to Christen me as we were getting started. “Thanks buddy!” Ha. It comes with the territory. When photographing babies, you get used to being pooped on. Peed on. Regurgitated on. It’s in the job description. No, really. =) But check out the hair on this little guy! I had a little hair envy. He was born with perfectly awesome, stylish hair. Lucky baby. Thanks to mom Kristine and dad Greg for the honor of photographing your little man. He is pure sweetness and will give you a lifetime of overflowing love, happiness and pride.

Tiffany Williams - These pictures are amazingly beautiful. It is so great to see two people so in love and a son who is blessed to have such wonderful parents. The love absolute emanates from these photos. We are so happy for Kris, Greg, and baby Noah.

Maria - Oh my goodness that first picture is priceless! Oops, baby boy!

RJ & DJ Expecting

I feel like I was hand-delivered characters from a Nicholas Sparks novel. At least this is what they look like in my head when I read one of his books. Seriously.

I got a call from RJ yesterday saying his wife DJ was due to deliver their first baby this weekend and they wanted maternity photos. As luck would have it, my husband was home on vacation today and I am leaving for San Francisco tomorrow, so I was able to squeeze them in this morning. Thank goodness for schedules aligning! I thank my lucky stars for throwing these gorgeous families my way. =) I seriously love my job and am happy when I can accommodate people at the last minute. You just never know until you call or email!

cynthia S - What a gorgeous couple! Beautiful job Ingrid!!!!

Jayasri - Beautiful. Pregnant ladies – especially in the third trimester – have an extraordinary radiant beauty. In previous times pregnant women were hiding because of their big bellies! We should not deprive society of this life-forthbringing beauty of womanly motherhood. Thanks for posting and all the best for the new family!

I had the honor and privileged of witnessing the love and union of Nikki and Lisa in DC today. They were so incredibly sweet together. Thank you both for the honor of documenting your wedding day. I wish you many years of good health and happiness. =)

The amazing vegan cupcakes from Sticky Fingers Bakery in DC. Super moist and you’d never know they were vegan. So good!
