Today I had the pleasure of photographing 12 day old little Cooper. While mom Melissa was feeding the model, I perused his dad’s aviation collection (Dan flies the same Navy helicopter my husband used to fly). I spied a helmet on his shelf used for aviation and hoped mom would be game for letting me use it as a baby prop while we waited for dad to get home from work. I never got to photograph my babies in my husband’s helmet, but I knew my husband would appreciate this shot. I’m hoping Cooper’s dad gets as much of a kick out of it as I did. Could this be a new trend in the aviation community? I hope so! Have camera and military ID, will travel! =)
