So you’ve probably seen photos of my friend and fellow colleague Amanda Pagon floating around my blog. The Baltimore Sun wanted to write an article about her and she asked if I would photograph her with her kids for the article. Um, yeah! I was honored to do it. Here is the article. Go read it and prepare to be impressed. She is a mother of 4 and a phenomenal athlete. Not to mention one of the most humble persons I’ve ever known. Here is the shot they used:

Amanda is a mother of 4, triathlete, fellow photographer and owner of Apple Pie Photography in the South Riding area. I had the pleasure of meeting her while our sons played football together. Turns out she also lived in San Diego and trained at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista (a suburb of San Diego). Impressive! All that aside, she is tall, fit, and stunning in person. I handed her my card before the end of the football season and said I’d love to photograph her when she was in her 3rd trimester. She already had 3 sons and was pregnant with her 4th! We got together a week before she gave birth and had a mini photo session with her (then) youngest son. He was very excited about the prospect of becoming a big brother. =) Meet the lovely and talented supermama:
