			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a name="fb_share" type="button_count" share_url="http://ingridkaslik.com/blog/french-flair/">Share</a><p>Yesterday I went shopping at the <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/gog/misc-events/lucketts-spring-antiques-market,1123582.html" target="_blank">Luckett&#8217;s Spring Antique Market</a> in <a title="Lucketts, Virginia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucketts,_Virginia" target="_blank">Lucketts, Virginia</a>. I&#8217;ve been hoping to find a <a title="French Provincial" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_furniture" target="_blank">French Provincial </a>loveseat to use as a photo prop for awhile now. Virginia seems to be overflowing with them. I can&#8217;t say that I&#8217;ve ever seen them in San Diego, so I&#8217;m stocking up while we&#8217;re here so I can take them to the beach when we move back to California.</p>
<p>While browsing around the market, I met a lovely lady named Becky and her son Darren (305.987.7112 or <a href="mailto:braundarren@aol.com" target="_blank">braundarren@aol.com</a>) who specialize in this type of furniture. They sell their pieces both here and in Atlanta, but are based out of Brunswick, MD. You can view some of their offerings <a href="http://www.goantiques.com/members/rbdesigns" target="_blank">here</a>. They have a lot of un-upholstered pieces and work closely with a lady named Melody (240.344.7894) who will upholster them to your liking. They are really pleasant to work with. So if you&#8217;re in the area and looking for conversational pieces of furniture, check them out. They will work with you to find what you desire.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s another flea market coming up this weekend,  Saturday, June 6, 2009 and  Sunday, June 7, 2009, called the <strong>DC Big Flea Market</strong>.</p>
