I’ve known Alexis since she was a wee little toddler. I used to babysit her and her two siblings while I was in high school. She was a little bruiser of a tomboy, with dimples that would knock your socks off. She has grown into a beautiful, educated young woman… and held on tight to those dimples. She met and fell in love with Clint while they were at UC Davis. When she called me about a year ago to tell me she wanted to hire me as her wedding photographer, I was so honored. She flew me out to San Diego (my hometown) for the rehearsal and wedding. It was a perfect weekend filled with sunshine, blue skies, and perfect mid-70′s temperatures. I’ll be in San Diego in 6 weeks to shoot Alexis’ wedding. I babysat Alexis and her siblings when they were wee little ones, and now here she is all grown up and getting married. Crazy talk. I still think of her as a 4 year old little bruiser of a tomboy, always with scuffed knees and the occasional black eye. They had a babysitter saddle that they’d strap to my back and ride me like a horse around their living room. Oh yes they did. =) I am honored that she has hired me to be her wedding photographer. It is such a great honor. And it gives me a good excuse to go back home and veg on the beach for a few days. I am so homesick for the climate and beach… and the sunsets. Oh the sunsets! Magic, golden, Heavenly.
