At least that’s what my kids called it yesterday. I have no idea. Never been in a blizzard before. But dang is it ever cool! My husband spent a good part of the day shoveling snow off our driveway. Every time I went to take a peek at his handy work, it looked like he barely made a dent. That’s how hard and fast it was coming down. Our dog went nuts bouncing through the powdery snow. He disappeared in some spots, it was so deep, but he bounced right back out like a rabbit. I grabbed my camera (and rain sleeve) and ventured out.
The snow in our doorway yesterday morning.

Got Stuck in the snow trying to make a snow angel for my friend Bridget back in SoCal. No one was around, so I sat there trying to figure out how I was going to get out of my hole. Took a bit of wiggling, but I managed to get out. But it turned my snow angel into a snow blob. Ah well. I tried. Maybe today will be easier with the snow being a bit more firm.
My oldest son Caleb packed on the layers so he could head out to help his dad shovel the sidewalk.
My husband supervising our 5 year old son as he tackles shoveling duty.
On a regular day this would be a street… but it was covered in snow. That little blob on the right is a car buried beneath the snow. Poor car.
But how about a snow covered playground? That’s kind of cool.
