Vacation. Had to get away… and away I shall go. But unlike the GO-GO’s, my vacation is not meant to be spent alone. Packing my family of six into my mommyvan (a.k.a. minivan) and taking this show on the road. Driving south to Orlando to poke our heads and feet around Disney World for the first time. Being Native Californians (except for my husband), we are seasoned Disneylandians. But Disney World will be like Disneyland on steroids in comparison. I’ll be incommunicado from April 23 – May 2. Please pray for our sanity. Four kids and long car rides will test any parent’s will. =) Luckily there are some beaches along the way. Yippee!!!

Stacy - Have a safe fun trip! We did that a few years ago…it’s not “so” bad but you know that from driving here…
cin - Safe travels.
Funny how things work out. I’d been to Disney World twice before ever traveling 90 minutes up the road to Disneyland. Experiencing our first year as a year-round school with a kindergartner, we thought ‘great lets go to DW during October’s break – no one will be there’. We wake up at FIL’s place to see all the network morning shows broadcasting live from DW to celebrate their 20th Anniversary – and – the President was flying in for ceremonies! Talk about crowds! We reversed engineered our trip to visit DW at the end of our stay.
By the way — have you heard about the Disney Auto Train?

Richard Mullen - I show others your pictures and the reaction is a mixture of jaw dropping and “ahhhh”. You set the standard.
